- Gather five Misty Velvetdrop Flowers from around Ash Salt Water Lake, and kill corrupted creatures outside Lajeer Castle for three bottles of Corrupted Blood.

- So, it's like this... When I first came here, I found a flower along the lake bed called Misty Velvetdrop Flower. The flower, leaves, and stalk are all white in color, and after some Bloodwater Aqua Dragons ate it, they grew less aggressive, which is quite unusual. I guess the Misty Velvetdrop Flowers must posses some kind of sedative, but that'll require more testing to prove. To east of Lajeer Castle, there are many corrupted creatures whose blood could be used to conduct the necessary experiments. If we could obtain some of their blood and observe the effects of Misty Velvetdrop Flowers on it, we might be able to use it to help Arboran's army. (Character name), could you lend a hand?

- Thank you for your hard work, (character name). I'll start the tests right now. Hmm... Hmm... very interesting! It appears that Misty Velvetdrop Flowers do have a sedative effect, but the corruption continues to spread, albiet at a much slower rate... If the Misty Velvetdrop Flower is not administered repeatedly, the creatures will fully revert back to their corrupted state. Misty Velvetdrop Flowers can calm the creatures, but it can only calm them for a short time. This is a bizarre phenomenon.
