Dragon Skills[]
Please note that this guide does not currently contain all of the “new” dragon skills from a few patches ago – we’re working on that!
That aside, this guide should cover most of the available dragon skills – “gray” skills the dragon uses in combat.
Skill Borders[]
Looking at skills, one important thing to note is the color and style of the border around the skill. This offers some insight into how the skill is used.
Purple: Soul Skill. Can be hotkeyed and used by the player.
Orange: Crafting / Mastery Skill. Improves Process output in Dragon Lair.
Gray: Combat skill. Can be passive buffs or active skills.
Red outline on Gray: Combat skill. Can be passive buffs or active skills. Able to be manually used in the Dragon Arena.
Green: Evolution Skill. Think of these as “combo” skills of sorts.
Common vs. Rare[]
“Common” dragons are very easy to find, usually having their species name as their default name. Example: Vibrant Ridgecrest Dragon, Scarlet-Tinged Amethyst Dragon
“Rare” dragons are named, usually PE bosses or dungeon rares. Example: Gripmaw, Brimstone, Blood Rage Elegant Dragon
Most Fabled Ancient, Mythical, Assault, Hydra, Eastern, Ancient, Ironhide, Duskreaver, and Phantom dragons are “rare” by default.
Common dragons will not have Rare skills. Rare dragons can have Common skills.
